Dr. Hyver has performed specialized laser vision correction procedures, including Wavefront-Optimized “All Laser” LASIK, SMILE, and customized PRK in the Bay Area for over 20 years. He is extensively involved in all steps of pre-operative care with his patients, including meeting during the consultation to analyze the patient’s prescription and corneal features in order to arrive at an optimal treatment plans.
Dr. Hyver puts the safety of his patients as his highest priority. He also requires that patients undergo a pre-operative dilated exam before all procedures to ensure their eyes are healthy and sound. While some surgeons may make this dilated exam optional, Dr. Hyver considers it an essential safety measure.
Dr. Hyver is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He has also been the eye doctor and laser eye surgeon for the San Francisco 49ers football team since 2006.
Dr. Hyver enjoys being with his family, playing soccer, and watching the 49ers.
